My ham shack resides in this solid wood (quarter sawn oak)drop front desk, which I am very proud to own. The significant other in my life (who is also known as KI7YSF) made me buy it as she thought the previous bookshelf shack was simply ugly. This is a very nice piece of hand-made furniture; and when closed, the desk hides all my wires and "stuff" that tends to hand out around the shack.
